Downloads If you wish to run a Java based Syslog Server, then you want to download the Syslogd Server Package. This includes the sources for the SyslogD application, documentation, and the Syslog package which includes the code to allow Java programs to log messages to the Syslog server and a test application to log messages. If you simply want to allow your Java programs to log to an existing Syslog server, then you want to download the Syslog Client Package. It includes the code to allow logging syslog messages, as well as a test application to log messages.
