Our Software

Quantum’s mission is to provide ERP software that is affordable to small companies, yet scalable enough for companies who have hundreds of employees.

Inmass was founded in 1975 by a group of manufacturing experts, including Oliver White, the father of MRP and MRP II. As one of the first micro-computer-based manufacturing systems, Inmass became the industry standard with over 5000 Implementations across North America.

In 2012, Quantum Software purchased the company and since redeveloped the software to offer customers the latest cloud-based technology and hundreds of new features.

The migration to Q-INMASS was surprisingly smooth and pain-free. The Quantum Software team worked diligently at every step to ensure a successful implementation and instilled confidence with our team.

About Us

Quantum Software is headquartered in Novi, Michigan. Quantum’s mission is to be a premier provider of cost-effective ERP solutions for the small-to-medium business (“SMB”) market. We take our business personally and endevor to enjoy the work we do and the people we serve.

Daniel Carr: Partner

Carr oversees the company’s strategic direction, sales and marketing for the company. He has over 30 years of experience in ERP software. Among Dan’s significant accomplishments was the founding and growth of a $10 million ERP software company, which he sold in 2007. He was the founding CIO of a start-up Pharma company which grew to over $600 million in sales and was subsequently sold to Cardinal Health for $1.1 billion.

Dan also is the author of Common Sense ERP, a book on ERP software selection targeted at business owners of small to mid-sized enterprises.

Kevin Murray: Partner

Murray leads the development and implementation of the new software. He is a certified management accountant who started his career in the executive financial management program of a Fortune 500 corporation.

Ultimately, he became the CFO/COO of a highly successful construction supply company and was instrumental in engineer a deal to sell to a private equity group in 2007. Since then, the company has become one of the leading supply companies in the country.

Kevin works directly with the companies using their software. He enjoys understanding their business need and finds innovative software solutions to solve them.
